16 comics, 2 shows, 2 nights… COMEDY’SPLOSION returns to the MadLab Theatre for another amazing weekend of stand-up comedy! In it’s fifth year, COMEDY’SPLOSION is the longest running local stand-up comedy festival in Columbus. While the line-ups for each night include staple local acts and national headliners, all of the comics on the shows are Columbus-based. This not only makes COMEDY’SPLOSION one of the best, most dense line-ups of stand-up comedy you can see all year, but also showcases the tremendous talent that is available at shows throughout Columbus all through the year.

-Bill won the “Car Crash Comedy Contest” on SiriusXm’s Opie and Anthony Show in 2011. Bill made a non-traditional appearance on Comedy Central in the summer of 2009 by winning the “Show Us Your Best” contest; his stand up clip aired on Comedy Central and was featured on comedycentral.com. In 2008, Bill was part of the Mitch Across America Tribute, when comedy clubs across the country held shows to celebrate the life of Mitch Hedburg and the release of Mitch’s last album. Bill is also a cast member on the YouTube sensation webseries “Man in the Box,” which has over 60,000 subscribers, nearly 300 episodes and aired on Cinemax OnDemand.

On Friday, December 23rd at 11:00PM at Wall Street Nightclub, Brooke Cartus hosts a Christmas Comedy Showcase at Wall Street Nightclub. Featuring Justin Golak, Aaron Nemo, Sumukh Torgalkar, and Shannon Parkevich. Show starts at 11, but get there by 10 to participate in the “Ugly Sweater Contest.” Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater for a chance at fabulous prizes.
